Summary

While suicide prevention work has improved, many families and communities continue to be bereaved by suicide.

With almost eight people per day dying by suicide, perhaps hundreds of people are being profoundly impacted. GPs play a vital role in supporting these people through the grieving process and in preventing future suicides. This resource has aimed to provide information and advice to help GPs perform this role.
