With over 1 million Australians experiencing eating disorders at any given time, there’s a high chance a patient may visit your practice presenting with signs and symptoms. A new online directory, connect·ed, has launched enabling GPs to search locally for credentialed mental health professionals who have the qualifications, skills and experience to treat eating disorders.
The new directory seeks to help people experiencing eating disorders access the right treatment at the right time, increasing the chance of timely intervention and positive treatment outcomes.
