RACGP submission: review of Primary Health Network business model and mental health flexible funding
The RACGP has provided a submission to the review of Primary Health Network (PHN) business model and mental health flexible funding model, with results that may interest GPs.
The RACGP ‘s response recognises the potential of PHNs and acknowledges the great work some PHNs have achieved but highlights the inconsistency of PHN performance across the health sector. The RACGP calls for greater transparency and accountability in these organisations.
The RACGP also calls for changes to funding arrangements to enable greater flexibility over longer funding periods to enable more innovative programs.
