Multiculturalism and mental health
Embrace Multicultural Mental Health (the Embrace Project) officially launched its new website and framework this month following many months of collaboration and consultation with various consumer and carer groups.
The new website will be a hub of information around culturally and linguistically diverse mental health, with resources and support for consumers, carers, communities and service providers. The redeveloped framework will offer a free online resource that enables organisations to self-assess a number of performance indicators for culturally responsive care.
The GPMHSC suggests that training providers should use the website as a resource when looking to address learning outcomes 2.1 in MHST and 1.1 in FPS ST.
