New instructions on how GPs can update their provider number
As you know, training providers are required need to advise GPs that they must update their provider number with the GPMHSC to report completion of Mental Health Skills Training (MHST) to Medicare.
The GPMHSC has updated the online instructions advising GPs on how to update their provider number. Please ensure you include this new information in any emails to GPs that have completed MHST. This will ensure training gets reported quickly and efficiently.
GPs can add their provider number through the ‘my account’ button on the RACGP website using these instructions here.
